Startup Reve to end image generation service after OpenAI investment, shuts on Sept. 27

Image-generation AI startup Reve will end its flagship image-generation service after securing new investment from OpenAI. Reve said image generation on reve.com will be unavailable from 12 p.m. Pacific time on Sept. 27, and new sign-ups and paid subscriptions were halted on Sept. 17. Existing users can download created images until Oct. 31. Paid subscribers who paid September fees will receive full refunds to their original payment method by mid-October.

Post Office Insurance revamps two flagship products, lowers entry barriers and expands coverage

Korea’s postal services agency will launch two revamped Post Office Insurance flagship products, lowering entry barriers for people with pre-existing illnesses and strengthening child-focused coverage. The two products, a health insurance plan and a children’s insurance plan, are set to go on sale on Sept. 16. Changes include a simplified enrollment option, expanded hospitalisation benefits from the first day, and new riders covering common and child-specific conditions. An enrollment event will run through Oct. 31.

Smilegate launches official service for \'Eclipse: The Awakening\'

Smilegate said on Wednesday it has begun official service for \'Eclipse: The Awakening,\' an MMORPG developed by Npixel. The game is available on both PC and mobile and supports cross-play between the two platforms. Smilegate has also launched in-game events tied to character growth and equipment acquisition, along with payment promotions. Offline, it is partnering with Saenghwalmaekju to sell related products through Oct. 11 and provide in-game coupons to set buyers.
