SC First Bank launches Korean Air mileage deposit offering up to 3.65 percent
SC First Bank has launched a time deposit product that pays after-tax interest at maturity in Korean Air mileage. The bank said it partnered with Korean Air to offer the product and will run a launch event through Oct. 31. Customers can choose 6- or 12-month terms, with base rates of 3.15 percent and 3.55 percent. Preferential rates can lift returns to 3.25 percent and 3.65 percent, depending on deposit size and customer status.

Game industry teams up with Samsung foldables on Galaxy themes based on game IP
South Korean game companies are expanding major game intellectual property into Galaxy themes timed with Samsung Electronics\' launch of new foldable smartphones. Netmarble, Nexon, Haejin and HoYoverse Korea unveiled special themes for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8, applying characters and game worlds to lock screens, wallpapers, icons and ringtones. Themes are offered as purchase benefits via Galaxy Store and through NFC-based in-store体验 events at five Samsung Store locations.

KT offers roaming, Grab promotion for Southeast Asia summer travelers
KT is offering low-cost roaming plans and local partner benefits for travelers to Southeast Asia during the summer vacation season. The company said the promotion runs through Oct. 31 and covers Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. The plan costs 25,000 won and includes 3 GB of data and 30 minutes of voice calls for 7 days, with reduced-speed data after use. Eligible customers also receive Grab discount benefits in seven countries.
