NASA overhauls Artemis 3 mission for space docking instead of moon landing

NASA has unveiled a detailed plan to use three heavy rockets for the Artemis 3 mission scheduled for 2027. Instead of a crewed Moon landing, the mission will verify key systems by conducting docking tests in Earth orbit involving two commercial lunar lander test vehicles and the crewed Orion spacecraft.
