iOS 27.0.1 rollout fixes iPhone 18 Pro Face ID bug
Apple has released iOS 27.0.1 to fix bugs in iOS 27, including a Face ID issue affecting some iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max devices that could trigger an unexpected reboot after authentication failures. The update also addresses colour distortion in certain photos taken under specific lighting conditions and fixes a touchscreen bug that occurred when opening Notification Center and Control Center at the same time.

Korea Exchange to build 12-hour trading system by end-2027
Korea Exchange plans to build a single-board system linking the premarket, main session and after-market by the end of 2027, expanding daily trading to 12 hours. The exchange began running an after-market from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 14 for KOSPI and KOSDAQ-listed shares, excluding ETFs and ETNs. It is also pursuing a shift in the stock settlement cycle from T+2 to T+1.

What changes in Apple Notes with iOS 27
Apple is enhancing the Notes app in iOS 27 with new tools for organizing and navigating long notes. The update adds divider lines and supports links that jump to headings or subheadings within the same note. Siri AI integration is expanded to create notes, add content and insert answers directly, including to specific notes. Markdown support is broadened with automatic formatting on paste and a new copy-as-Markdown option. The app also gets UI changes and updated icons, including shared folder indicators.
