Woori Financial to provide 450 billion won PF support for Pohang AI data centre
Woori Financial Group will provide financial support for a Pohang artificial intelligence data centre project with a total cost of 600 billion won. It signed a project financing agreement for the Pohang AI Factory data centre to be built in Gwangmyeong General Industrial Complex in Pohang. The project will build a 40 MW power-capacity facility with 32 MW of IT load and aims for completion by end-2027. Funding includes 150 billion won in equity and 450 billion won in PF loans.

Coupang bought 7,000 tonnes of fruit from regional farms, including depopulating areas, in January to August, its highest amount for that period. The company said purchases across eight areas rose 10 percent from a year earlier. The volume is close to last year’s annual total of about 7,600 tonnes, and Coupang expects full-year purchases to exceed 8,400 tonnes.

Korea Post to launch local love cards in Muju and Chilgok to boost seniors\' financial access
The Ministry of Science and ICT\'s Postal Service will introduce local love cards in Muju, North Jeolla Province, and Chilgok, North Gyeongsang Province. It will launch the Post Office Muju Love Card on Sept. 10 and the Post Office Chilgok Love Card on Sept. 21. Residents can visit a nearby post office counter for guidance on card issuance and voucher top-ups, helping older people less familiar with mobile apps.
