Game IPs move off-screen as physical trading cards roll out

Line Games appoints former Neptune CEO Yoo Taewoong as head of management
Line Games has hired Yoo Taewoong, a former chief executive of Neptune and Nimble Neuron, as its new head of management with the rank of vice president. The company said the appointment is part of a strategy aimed at strengthening business competitiveness, aligned with the launch of a new co-CEO structure. Yoo previously worked at Hangame and Naver, joined Neptune in 2012 and later led management stabilization after its inclusion in the Kakao group.

Neptune posts 121.3 billion won 2025 revenue, to focus on India adtech and hybrid games
Neptune reported 2025 consolidated revenue of 121.3 billion won and operating profit of 2.41 billion won, it disclosed on Wednesday. Adtech revenue rose 3.1 percent and ad transaction volume increased to 58.64 billion won. Other revenue, including enterprise chat solution KlaT and marketing business Remake, grew 16.2 percent to 8.1 billion won. The company plans to enter India’s adtech market and expand hybrid casual games and publishing.
