AI models split on 2026 World Cup winner, Spain gets 4 votes and Argentina 3

A test asking seven AI models to predict the winner of the 2026 World Cup produced split results, with four selecting Spain and three backing Argentina. All models ranked Spain, Argentina and France among the top teams, but differed on the champion. The experiment used the same 48-team field, 12 groups and full bracket. Differences largely reflected which data each model prioritised, such as Elo ratings or FIFA rankings and past results.

Jensen Huang charts AI cooperation map in South Korea over four days

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (황젠슨) used a four-day visit to South Korea to map cooperation across the country’s AI value chain, spanning memory chips, foundries, data centres, AI models and robotics. He met executives from SK, Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Group, Naver and LG Electronics, and hosted a reception bringing together 18 companies. Talks covered generative and sovereign AI, chip infrastructure, overseas expansion and startup cooperation, the report said.

Jensen Huang calls Naver a global AI developer, expands AI cloud and robotics cooperation

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (젠슨 황) named Naver a key partner for expanding AI cloud in South Korea and globally, broadening cooperation beyond GPU supply to open AI model development, large-scale AI cloud and robotics. He outlined three areas: open frontier models through the Nemotron consortium, building a 200-megawatt AI factory with plans to expand to gigawatt scale, and advancing robotics. Naver chair Lee Hae-jin (이해진) said Naver is prepared to meet rising GPU and AI demand.
