Naver Cloud, Korea Siemens sign MOU to speed AI transformation in manufacturing
Naver Cloud said on Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Korea Siemens to accelerate artificial intelligence transformation in the manufacturing industry. The signing ceremony was held at Naver 1784 and attended by executives from both companies, including Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yu-won and Siemens Vice Chairman Cedrik Neike. The companies plan to jointly develop solutions, expand industrial AI and digital transformation offerings and pursue joint customer development.

Sam Altman to visit Samsung, Kakao, Naver to discuss expanding AI cooperation
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman will visit South Korea on June 14 and depart on the evening of June 15, meeting Samsung Electronics, Kakao and Naver, industry sources said. He is set to hold a talk event with Samsung’s DX division staff at its Digital City campus in Suwon and meet Kakao CEO Jeong Shin-a in Seongnam. Altman also plans to visit Naver’s 1784 building.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (황젠슨) is expected to visit Naver’s second headquarters, 1784, during his trip to South Korea this week, an industry source said. The companies are coordinating the visit, with June 8 seen as the most likely date. Huang is also expected to meet separately with Naver board chairman Lee Hae-jin (이해진) on June 5 to discuss broad cooperation on AI infrastructure, sovereign AI and physical AI.
