Naver said on Oct. 27 it is starting ticket reservations for the women’s tennis tournament “Naver x Hyundai Card The Six,” to be held in December at Naver Arena on Yeongjong Island in Incheon.

The tournament runs from Dec. 25 to 27. It will be the first event held at Naver Arena since Naver signed a naming-rights deal with Inspire Resort.

Total prize money is $1.1 million. Six women’s tennis players will compete, including Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Iga Swiatek, Naomi Osaka, Mirra Andreeva and Jasmine Paolini.

Tickets can be booked on Naver by searching for “Naver Hyundai Card The Six.” Reservations will be available to Naver Plus membership users and Hyundai Card members, and Naver Hyundai Card members will receive a 10 percent discount on ticket prices.

Users who book all 5 matches will also be offered, by lottery, a chance to take part in a one-point clinic with participating players.

Naver plans to apply Naver Pay wallet-based non-fungible token (NFT) tickets and its facial recognition entry and authentication service, Face Sign, at the venue. It is also preparing events using Clip at the site.

Matches will be broadcast live on KBS and Naver’s streaming platform Chzzk.

The 6 participating players will also visit Naver 1784 in Seongnam, Gyeonggi province, on Dec. 24, the day before the tournament, to take part in a fan-participation event.

The event will be held at the extended reality (XR) production studio Vision Stage built inside 1784. Vision Stage is equipped with an 8K-resolution LED screen measuring 13 metres wide and 5 metres high, along with cameras, lighting and a real-time graphics production environment.

Naver plans to present player-specific content and fan-participation programs using backgrounds such as a virtual tennis court and Naver Arena.

Starting with this tournament, Naver plans to 추진 a range of offline events at Naver Arena, including concerts, music festivals and esports matches.
