Samsung SDS AI collaboration tool Brity Works adopted by nine central government ministries
Samsung SDS said on Aug. 13 that nine central government ministries, including the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Financial Services Commission and the Overseas Koreans Agency, will adopt its AI collaboration solution Brity Works. The ministries are set to start the service sequentially by August. Samsung SDS provides Brity Works as the official collaboration tool for the government’s OnAI platform.

Estsecurity unveils Alyac Agentic EDR linked to LG K-EXAONE AI model
Estsecurity, the security unit of AI services company East Soft, said on Monday it will launch its endpoint detection and response solution, Alyac Agentic EDR, integrated with LG AI Research’s K-EXAONE AI model. The company said the product includes an AI agent that supports the full security pipeline, from real-time threat detection to report writing. It said internal tests showed faster analysis and reporting and increased automation.

Global cloud providers including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Google Cloud have obtained South Korea’s low-tier Cloud Service Security Assurance Program certification and entered the public-sector cloud market, but have yet to produce notable results. Industry sources say few public agencies use global clouds outside some research institutes, citing high costs and limited scope under the low-tier certification. The government is pursuing policy changes to overhaul the security certification regime, which could become a major variable.
