Kazakhstan to set up national crypto analysis centre for integrated monitoring

Kazakhstan is moving to establish a national cryptocurrency analysis centre to monitor fiat and crypto transactions in an integrated way as digital-asset trading expands. The centre will run on the National Bank\'s SupTech platform and analyse customer data, wallets and individual transfers, while supporting blockchain analysis and automated supervision. It will integrate with an anti-fraud centre launched in 2024. The initiative follows rising AIFC-registered digital-asset volumes and wider national regulation.

U.S. investors can buy options on Canadian XRP ETFs, expanding regulated derivatives

Options on XRP exchange-traded funds listed in Canada have been registered for sale to U.S. investors, expanding access to regulated XRP-linked derivatives. The Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation registered options based on the Evolve XRP ETF and Purpose XRP ETF under the Form S-20 framework. The filing does not mean the options are directly listed on a U.S. exchange. The framework already covers options tied to bitcoin, ether and solana ETFs.

Payward partners with SoFi to add SoFiUSD on Kraken

Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, is partnering with U.S. fintech firm SoFi to strengthen stablecoin and round-the-clock dollar payments infrastructure. Payward plans to list SoFi’s dollar-pegged stablecoin SoFiUSD on Kraken and join the SoFi Exchange Network for real-time payments. The tie-up will allow Kraken’s institutional and corporate clients to settle U.S. dollar transactions 24/7 and may expand into qualified digital asset custody services.
