NH Investment Securities posts record Q2 results; H1 net profit nears 1 trillion won

NH Investment Securities said on Wednesday its second-quarter operating profit rose 111.6 percent from a year earlier to 681.2 billion won, while net profit climbed 90.5 percent to 489.4 billion won, both quarterly records. First-half operating profit reached 1.32 trillion won and net profit was 965.1 billion won, the highest for any first half. The company cited higher brokerage income and balanced growth across product sales, investment banking and operations.

NH Investment Securities to co-host 2026 AFPRO Expo to support innovative agri-food companies

NH Investment Securities will take part as a co-host of the 2026 AFPRO Expo to support innovative companies in the agri-food sector in attracting investment and expanding sales channels. The brokerage said on Tuesday it will co-host the event, led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, with NongHyup, the Korea Agriculture Technology Promotion Agency and Coex. The expo runs July 15-17 in Seoul with programs for fundraising, market development, technology exchanges and networking.

NH Investment Securities recommended Shin Jae-wook, head of the real estate and infrastructure business division, and Bae Gwang-soo, head of the wealth management division, as candidates for its next chief executives. The nominations are part of a move from a sole CEO system to a co-CEO structure. The firm plans to seek board approval and hold an extraordinary shareholders meeting on June 30 to appoint the CEOs.
