NH Investment Securities said on Thursday its one-year return in the retirement pension robo-adviser market came to 60.39 percent, among the highest in the industry.

According to comparative disclosures from Koscom's Robo-Advisor Testbed Center on Thursday, NH Investment Securities' in-house algorithm strategy, NH_DNA Retirement Pension_Floopin_P, delivered a 60.39 percent return over the past year.

It said NH_DNA Retirement Pension_Econex_P and NH_DNA Retirement Pension_ThriveX_P posted returns of 57.57 percent and 53.14 percent, respectively. That was above the market average of 22.4 percent over the same period.

A retirement pension robo-adviser uses artificial intelligence algorithms and big data to manage and administer an individual retirement pension plan, or IRP.

Jae-kyung Lee (이재경), a vice president in NH Investment Securities' Channel Solution Division, said, "A robo-adviser does not get swayed by emotions like a human and coolly adheres to investment principles." He said, "It will be a reliable shield in volatile markets and a window for stable returns."
