[Digital Today reporter Sangyeop Oh] NH Investment Securities will participate as a co-host of the "2026 AFPRO Expo" to support innovative companies in the agri-food sector in attracting investment and expanding sales channels.

NH Investment Securities said on Tuesday it will co-host the 2026 AFPRO Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, together with NongHyup, the Korea Agriculture Technology Promotion Agency and Coex.

The AFPRO Expo is a specialised agri-food event attended by innovative companies and related organisations in areas including agtech, foodtech and green bio.

This year's event runs from July 15 to 17 at Coex in Seoul's Gangnam district. Programmes will be offered to support fundraising, market development, technology exchanges and networking.

NH Investment Securities will jointly operate a NongHyup promotional pavilion with NongHyup Bank. It also set up an "NH Investment Roadshow" for investors and companies to network and identify investment opportunities.

During the expo, it will also support exhibition booths for AgroSolution Korea and Anon, which completed NH Investment Securities' agtech youth startup campus, "NHarvestX".

An NH Investment Securities official said supporting the AFPRO Expo is a project to expand the agtech investment ecosystem and help agri-food startups grow. The official said it will continue support, in cooperation with affiliates across the broader NongHyup group, to strengthen the competitiveness of the agri-food industry and create social value based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles.
