MSIT holds briefing on emergency response research for public safety

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT held a meeting on Monday to share the status of its emergency response research programme for public safety and discuss future plans. The programme seeks rapid science-and-technology solutions to disaster and safety issues that threaten daily life, aiming to apply results in the field to prevent recurrence. The event included prototype displays and progress briefings for 10 projects selected in 2025.

Hana Financial holds first Money Show as 1,500 register in a day

Hana Financial Group held the first Hana Financial Money Show at its Myeongdong office building, it said. The group-wide wealth management event brought together key affiliates including Hana Bank, Hana Securities, Hana Life and Hana Insurance. Pre-registration via the Hana OneQ app closed early after about 1,500 people signed up on the first day. Major lectures were also livestreamed on the group’s YouTube channel HanaTV.

Musinsa posts Q1 operating profit of 19.0 billion won, up 8.2 percent on year

Musinsa said on Tuesday it posted first-quarter consolidated revenue of 363.6 billion won and operating profit of 19.0 billion won, with revenue up 24.1 percent and profit up 8.2 percent from a year earlier, its best-ever first-quarter result. On a standalone basis, it reported revenue of 335.0 billion won and operating profit of 27.5 billion won. It recorded a standalone net loss due to interest expenses from accounting for RCPS as liabilities.
