South Korea, China sign MOUs to build basis for science and digital technology cooperation
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Jan. 5 it established a basis for cooperation with China on science, technology and digital technology during President Lee Jae-myung’s state visit. It signed an MOU with China’s Ministry of Science and Technology on innovation cooperation to respond to global challenges, including climate change and sustainable development. It also signed an MOU with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to expand cooperation across digital technologies. Minister Bae Kyung-hoon met members of the Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in China.
