Robinhood-backed DEX Arkus expands into tokenised assets and perpetual futures

Robinhood Crypto-backed decentralised exchange Arkus has launched tokenised stocks and perpetual futures on Robinhood Chain, expanding beyond its spot market. The service, built by the dYdX development team, now lets users trade more than 95 stock tokens, perpetual markets, and cryptocurrencies via self-custody trading accounts. Collateral and settlement primarily use USDG, a stablecoin issued by Paxos. Stock tokens are unavailable in some restricted regions including the United States, Canada and Britain.

MetaMask launches mUSD-linked money account with card payments

MetaMask has launched a Money Account that lets users deposit its stablecoin mUSD and earn up to 4 percent variable annual yield, while enabling spending by card when needed. The product is tied to DeFi lending strategies rather than interest paid by the issuer, MetaMask said. The service will roll out globally but excludes the UK, EU member states and sanctioned regions. Card payments are available only on the Monad blockchain.

Alchemy launches AgentCard virtual Visa card for AI agents

Blockchain infrastructure company Alchemy has launched an AI-focused virtual Visa card called AgentCard. The card and identity solution is designed to let AI agents make autonomous payments in the real world and was built through integration with Visa Intelligent Commerce. It supports tokenised payments instead of using an actual card number and, where merchants allow, cryptocurrency payments. The service also supports new agent payment protocols such as Coinbase-led x402 and the Stripe Machine Payments Protocol.
