New book \'Story Engineering\' lays out AI content strategy for creators across genres
Kim Woo-jung (김우정), a director at AI storytelling lab PROM, will publish \'Story Engineering\' on May 8, presenting a creative methodology for creators in the AI era. The book’s core is the author’s Chain of Story framework, which builds narratives step by step from title to editing. It also covers heuristic prompting, combining creators’ intuition with AI logic through strategically designed dialogue. Kim stresses maintaining leadership when collaborating with AI and introduces a personalised “story assistant” concept.

KOCCA seeks projects for 2026 global game localisation support
The Korea Creative Content Agency and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said on April 27 they will recruit projects for the 2026 global game localisation support programme until May 8. The programme will support about 30 game projects with three rounds of overseas user testing across five regions: North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Central and South America. Selected projects will receive one offline and two online evaluations.

Korea Post to accept applications at post offices for high oil price relief payment
Korea Post, under the Ministry of Science and ICT, will support applications for the government’s high oil price relief payment through post offices from April 27. Applications can be submitted at post office counters, through the Post Office Smart Banking app and on the Post Office Savings website. Applicants must hold a post office debit card. Vulnerable groups can apply first through May 8, while others apply from May 18 to July 3.
