Trump says no alternative to coal as White House plans $700 million to revive industry
The White House is reportedly planning to inject $700 million in additional public funds to support the U.S. coal-fired power industry, including restarting shuttered plants and building new coal plants. About 67 million people in the United States hold cryptocurrencies, or about 1 in 4 adults, as ownership spreads rapidly, the National Cryptocurrency Association said, citing a survey of 10,000 adults conducted with Harris Poll. New holders rose by 12 million, it said. The figures come as Congress considers the 2025 Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, which would split oversight between the CFTC and the SEC and has moved out of the Senate Banking Committee.
