Samsung SDS says cloud is biggest share of IT services revenue, to invest 10 trillion won by 2031

Samsung SDS on Wednesday reported preliminary first-quarter revenue of 3.35 trillion won and operating profit of 78.3 billion won. Revenue fell 3.9 percent from a year earlier, while profit slid 70.8 percent after it booked a 112.0 billion won retirement benefit provision following a change in severance pay calculation standards. Cloud revenue rose 5.8 percent to 690.9 billion won, becoming the largest share within IT services.

GS Neotec renews AWS MSP partnership

GS Neotec said on Tuesday it has renewed its qualification under Amazon Web Services\' managed service provider partner program after passing a renewal review. The company said it upgraded its automation-based operating system and met all review requirements. GS Neotec said it operates large-scale cloud services for customers across industries including media, commerce and manufacturing, accumulating operational results such as refined incident response, improved process efficiency and FinOps cost optimisation support.

AhnLab Cloudmate relocates to new Gwacheon headquarters, declares AX vision

AhnLab Cloudmate, an AhnLab subsidiary specialising in AX and managed services, said on Thursday it has relocated its headquarters to Smart K A Tower in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province. The company held a vision declaration ceremony at the new office, sharing its mid- to long-term business direction and strategy. It announced a new vision, “the trust layer beyond AX,” and said it will pivot toward an AX-focused structure combining AI solutions and architecture design capabilities.
