AI cloud services company Saltware said on March 17 it has been selected as a Red Hat premier partner. Red Hat partners provide system building and operations services for corporate and public-sector customers based on Red Hat.

Red Hat premier partner is the top-tier partner status given to companies with a high level of technical capability and delivery systems. It can support system building and operations based on major hybrid cloud technologies such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift (OpenShift) and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

Saltware earned the top-tier status about 3 years after starting cooperation with Red Hat. It said the designation reflects recognition of technical expertise it has built by providing public cloud-based managed services (MSP). Saltware said it has recently expanded its business into cloud migration and system modernisation projects for existing IT systems.

Saltware Chief Executive Lee Jeong-geun (이정근) said, "Based on our strengths as an MSP, we will expand our cloud infrastructure business and actively support public institutions and companies in adopting AI."
