Blockchain infrastructure company DSRV has launched an onchain finance operations platform for financial institutions and companies. The platform, called DSRV Portal, is designed to address fragmented infrastructure created when firms source custody, payments and wallet functions from different providers. It offers an onchain finance operating system structure that can be used without a dedicated blockchain development team, and includes compliance-focused features such as multi-step approvals, MPC key management and cold wallets.

Global big banks are expanding bitcoin custody as a strategic business, but a report warns today’s crypto custody infrastructure could face structural risks in a future quantum-computing era. Swiss digital asset technology company Taurus said major custodians carry significant risk during a shift to quantum-resistant cryptography. It said upgrades require blockchain protocol changes and broad coordination. The report argues MPC may face bigger hurdles than HSM, though the view is contested.
