AhnLab’s blockchain subsidiary AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC) has officially opened ABC Cloud Wallet, a custody service supporting the storage and management of digital assets, it said on Sunday.

The company said ABC Cloud Wallet is a digital asset custody service that individual, corporate, institutional and foundation clients can apply for and use online.

It is designed to go beyond simple storage and enable companies and institutions to systematically manage digital asset operating authority and policies in line with internal standards.

It supports digital asset operations and authority management optimized for corporate and institutional environments, a multi-layer security system based on MPC (Multi-Party Computation), cold wallets and always-on monitoring, on-chain anti-money laundering and transaction monitoring based on its self-developed blockchain intelligence service BICScan and support for Web3 security intelligence, and expansion including WaaS-based financial linkage and stablecoin use.

Seok-kyun Kang (강석균), CEO of ABC, said ABC Cloud Wallet brings together ABC’s security and operational experience and its in-house wallet technology built from running wallet services over the past 3 years and 6 months for 2.4 million individual customers and more than 100 corporate customers. He said that as the digital asset market rapidly expands into payments, settlement and digital financial infrastructure, ABC will provide safer Web3 financial infrastructure based on its security capabilities and in-house wallet development technology.
