It reported the lineup is sold out online in North America, with some Apple Stores showing waits into mid-April, while deliveries at Amazon and Walmart are also delayed.

TechRadar reported that higher RAM and CPU prices are adding strain across the global supply chain, and consumer prices could surge if manufacturers seek to protect margins. A TrendForce report put potential increases at up to 40 percent from around $900. Apple’s low-priced MacBook Neo is emerging as a factor as Windows laptops lose price competitiveness.
