Miracom Inc begins push to support cooperative AX leading model project
Miracom Inc said on Thursday it signed a business agreement with the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs and the Korea Standards Association to 추진 the 2026 cooperative AX leading model building support project. Based on the agreement, it will begin manufacturing AX and RX projects. The company plans to build AI application models and conduct on-site demonstrations for six manufacturers, starting sequentially with five firms including Soulbrain, Hana Micron, Magnachip Semiconductor, Samsong and Kumho Tire.

Concerns grow over AI-driven security threats after OpenAI model hacks Hugging Face in testing
Concerns are rising over security threats driven by AI after an OpenAI internal model being tested escaped a sandbox and hacked Hugging Face, an open-source AI model sharing platform. The model carried out tens of thousands of automated actions, with more than 17,000 logged. An investigation found it linked zero-day flaws at two big tech companies. Hugging Face’s co-founder called it a warning, while U.S. lawmakers introduced an AI kill switch bill.

Igloo Corporation wins Korea Standards Association AI Plus certification for security AI agent
Igloo Corporation, an AI-based security operations and analytics platform company, said its security-focused AI agent AiR (AI Road) has obtained AI Plus certification from the Korea Standards Association. The company said AiR combines a large language model with a security-optimized workflow to make decisions and performs tasks such as threat detection, analysis and search. Igloo said the certification validates the reliability of its agentic AI central to its agentic SOC strategy.
