Igloo Corporation, an AI-based security operations and analytics platform company, said on Sunday its security-focused artificial intelligence agent AiR (AI Road) has obtained AI Plus certification from the Korea Standards Association (KSA).

The company said Igloo Corporation's AiR is a security-focused AI agent that combines a large language model with natural language understanding and a workflow optimized for the security field to make decisions. Based on decision-making data and generative AI technology with a strong understanding of security, it performs tasks such as threat detection, analysis and search. This lets security staff transparently check the process behind the grounds on which the AI analyzed and judged threats, enabling them to handle core security tasks efficiently.

Igloo Corporation stressed that obtaining the AI Plus certification is the result of proving the reliability of "agentic AI", which it said is core to its company-wide strategy to implement an "Agentic SOC".

An Agentic SOC is a system in which multiple AI agents responsible for practical tasks such as detection, analysis and response actively grasp situations and collaborate organically to carry out practical defensive measures.

Igloo Corporation CEO Deuk-chun Lee (이득춘) said, "In the security field, securing the reliability of AI technology is most important. Based on the AI core technology validated through this certification, we plan to support a safe and intelligent security operations environment and strengthen our technological competitiveness."
