Team Naver proposes AI factory partnership in France, expands to industrial AI and content

Team Naver is expanding cooperation with French companies and institutions on AI infrastructure, industry-focused AI and content. Naver said CEO Choi Soo-yeon (최수연) and Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yoo-won (김유원) met French media, IT, energy, mobility and finance executives during President Lee Jae-myung’s France trip. It proposed jointly building an AI factory in Europe and outlined plans for sector-specific AI and content partnerships, including webtoons and an IP adaptation fund.

Bespin Global to build aT AI-based interactive service ChaTi

Bespin Global said on Tuesday it has won a contract to upgrade the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp’s interactive information search service, ChaTi. The project will revamp ChaTi on aT’s KATI export information platform using the company’s HelpNow AI. It will build an agentic AI assistant, improve LLM and RAG architecture, expand learning from internal data and add OCR-based extraction for unstructured data.

Naver Cloud to develop 700B cybersecurity AI model, preloads 4,000 GPUs

Naver Cloud said on Sept. 3 its consortium has been selected as the final operator for the government’s specialised AI foundation model project in the cybersecurity field and has begun full-scale development. It preloaded 4,000 B200 GPUs for pretraining ahead of the official start. The consortium will also use 256 government-provided GPUs and an additional 256 H200 GPUs from LG. It plans to develop two 700B MoE security models using HyperCLOVA X and LG AI Research’s EXAONE.
