AI services and solutions company Bespin Global said on Tuesday it has won a project to upgrade the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp’s interactive information search service, ChaTi.

The company said the project aims to respond to a changing global export environment by overhauling ChaTi on aT’s agricultural and food export information platform, KATI, using the latest AI technology.

Bespin Global will use its AI platform, HelpNow AI, to build an agentic AI-based next-generation intelligent assistant system that goes beyond a simple chatbot and analyses and executes users’ complex requirements on its own. The project includes improving answer accuracy by upgrading the latest large language model and retrieval-augmented generation architecture, expanding training on internal data such as the export statistics database and non-tariff barrier Q&A, and introducing an OCR-based extraction system for unstructured data such as PDFs, tables and images.

It will also apply multi-agent orchestration technology, in which agents specialised in areas such as market analysis, regulatory diagnostics and data analysis collaborate to resolve complex queries, to provide customised information to exporting companies and distributors.

Hur Yang-ho (허양호), CEO of Bespin Global Korea, said the contract was meaningful in that Bespin Global’s AI capabilities had been recognised as a standard even in a specialised domain such as agricultural and fisheries food. He said the company will build an "AI standard platform" that public institutions can adopt with confidence based on successful public-sector AX references spanning the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and aT.
