NH Nonghyup Bank will expand financial support for South Korea’s K-defense and aerospace industry through a cooperation agreement with Korea Aerospace Industries. The bank said on Sunday it signed a memorandum of understanding to broaden productive finance for the sector. Under the agreement, the bank plans to provide a total of 1 trillion won in funding over the next three years, covering needs such as technology development, facility investment and overseas market expansion.

Korea Exchange honoured 10 listed companies for achievements in boosting corporate value and discussed the value-up programme’s next tasks. It held an awards ceremony and seminar at its PR hall on May 27 to encourage companies that worked to enhance corporate value over the past year and to discuss ways to spread that culture. About 200 people attended the seminar, including pension funds, asset managers and listed firms.
