Konan Technology said on Monday it will hold the fifth Defense AI Summit on Nov. 13 at the Ninetree ROKAUS in Yongsan, Seoul.
The event will be held under the theme, “Opening global future new security,” and will focus on a defense intelligence analysis platform and on-device AI technology.
Konan Technology will unveil for the first time its internally developed all-source intelligence analysis platform, “Konan ARGOS.” It is a platform that integrates and analyses information from multiple sources using AI to support decision-making by military intelligence analysts.
SK Telecom and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) will also participate and present on topics including defense AI full stack, manned-unmanned teaming, swarm drones and counter-drone systems, and space edge AI.
In a closed afternoon session, participants plan to discuss ways to advance defense intelligence analysis linked to the Ministry of National Defense’s project for an open-source intelligence (OSINT) automated collection and analysis service, and to demonstrate Konan ARGOS.
Yang Seung-hyun (양승현), chief operating officer of Konan Technology, said, “Based on 20 years of experience accumulated in the defense field, I hope this will be an opportunity to confirm a new direction for defense AI.”
