Speakers at a forum in Seoul discussed development directions and domestic tasks for digital-asset ETFs and on-chain asset management. A “kimchi premium,” in which bitcoin trades higher on South Korean exchanges than overseas platforms, has reappeared. Upbit’s bitcoin price was about 1 percent above Binance, foreign media reported. The report cited market structure, including strict controls on capital flows and trading, and strong retail demand that can widen gaps. Bitcoin has risen 24 percent over the past month and is holding above $77,000.
