KakaoBank launches \'hidden account finder\' service
KakaoBank said on Monday it has launched a “hidden account finder” service that allows users to check and organize accounts scattered across multiple financial companies. The service lets users view accounts opened at 26 financial firms, including banks and mutual finance institutions, from within the KakaoBank app. Users can identify inactive accounts, select accounts to close and have remaining balances deposited into an account in their name or donated.

KakaoBank joins small business support expo, promotes relief account
KakaoBank said on March 27 it is taking part in the 2026 Small Business Support Expo at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, introducing Seoul’s financial support product for small business owners, the Ahnshim Account. The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation are hosting the event, which offers financial counselling and other programmes. KakaoBank will run a booth and provide an on-site application experience. It is the only bank participating in all three Ahnshim Account programmes.

KakaoBank said on Tuesday it will launch a service called \'Find Special-Price Accommodations\' in partnership with global travel platform Agoda, allowing users to book accommodation worldwide at special prices. The service lets users compare and reserve discounted deals in the KakaoBank app, search destinations directly or use a leaderboard feature. Users can receive a small cash reward once a day while searching, and get additional discounts including a 7 percent KakaoBank offer.
