Justin Sun sees Tron quantum-resistant shift in 2026; Ethereum, Solana also respond
Tron plans to shift to a quantum-resistant network in 2026, with a testnet launch in the second quarter and a mainnet rollout in the third, founder Justin Sun said. Sun called it the world’s first quantum-resistant network and cited quantum computing decryption as a key risk. Other players are also preparing: Ethereum has outlined post-quantum resources and a layer-1 upgrade plan through 2029, while Solana has deployed post-quantum signatures on its testnet.

TRON founder Justin Sun said stablecoins have already become a key payment network for global value movement and that the remaining gap is policy catching up to real-world usage. Data cited in the report showed about $86 billion in stablecoins circulating on TRON, with Tether’s USDT accounting for more than 97 percent. TRON processed about $7.9 trillion in USDT transfers in 2025, it said.

Ripple says quantum computing threat no longer a fantasy, unveils XRP Ledger roadmap
Ripple said it will transition the XRP Ledger to a quantum-computing response system by 2028. It said assets are not in immediate danger, but the quantum threat has moved from theoretical to a realistic level, making timing for preparation important. Ripple warned that “harvest now, decrypt later” poses higher risk. It said XRP Ledger has an advantage because it supports protocol-level key replacement, unlike Ethereum.
