Samsung Electronics is expanding the Galaxy Watch’s health management features from individuals to families by adding family profiles to Samsung Health and linking Samsung accounts. Users can selectively share metrics such as steps, sleep, heart rate, blood pressure and blood glucose so relatives can monitor changes and respond. Samsung also highlighted heart-health scoring and sleep-time vital signs tracking, and cited regulatory approvals and cases where alerts prompted medical care.

Bitcoin posted its strongest August rise since 2017, gaining more than 24 percent to trade around $78,000, despite renewed U.S.-Iran military clashes and a hawkish turn by the Federal Reserve.
