Samsung Electronics opens dedicated EHS heat pump training center in Suwon
Samsung Electronics said on Sept. 10 it has opened a dedicated EHS heat pump training center at its CS Academy in Suwon, Gyeonggi province, to strengthen training for B2B partners and installation engineers. The company said performance often depends on piping installation and maintenance. The center replicates real-site equipment and includes practice using HASS, an AI-based diagnostic program. Samsung also plans domestic mass production from late September.

Neople to hire at Jeju headquarters to boost Dungeon Fighter live service
Neople said on Sunday it will conduct a focused hiring drive at its Jeju headquarters to improve the service competitiveness of Dungeon Fighter. The recruitment targets the Dungeon Fighter project and will hire a double-digit number of staff across 12 positions, including game planning, programming, game business and technical support. Applications are open through Aug. 23 via the Nexon Company recruitment site. Successful candidates will work at the Jeju headquarters in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City.

Only 3 in 10 South Koreans use AI in consumer life, regional gaps also seen
Most consumers in South Korea say they are aware of artificial intelligence, but only about 3 in 10 use it in daily life or work, an analysis showed. The Korea Consumer Agency found 86.8% of respondents said they know AI, while 32.3% said they make important use of generative AI in consumption and work. AI purchase experience reached 75.3%, with lower use and purchase rates in Honam.
