$900 million flows into BlackRock\'s IBIT as bitcoin spot ETFs extend institutional inflows

U.S. bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows of $996.4 million last week, the biggest weekly inflow since mid-January, as inflows extended for a third straight week. Over the past three weeks, cumulative inflows topped $1.8 billion, with most money going into BlackRock’s IBIT. Ethereum spot ETFs also saw net inflows of $275.8 million, the largest since mid-January.

XRP spot ETFs see fund rebound with $11.2 million in daily inflows

XRP spot exchange-traded funds recorded $11.2 million in net inflows on April 14, their biggest daily inflow since February. Data from SoSoValue cited by The Crypto Basic showed the products extended a three-session inflow streak alongside a rebound in XRP prices. Bitwise’s XRP spot ETF and Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ led the day’s inflows. New inflows over the period totalled $21.75 million, lifting cumulative net inflows to $1.23 billion.

Welcome Savings Bank Seomyeon branch prevents 16 million won voice phishing loss

Welcome Savings Bank said on Feb. 13 that an employee at its Seomyeon branch received a letter of appreciation from Busanjin Police Station for pre-emptively blocking voice phishing damage. The recognition followed a Jan. 16 case in which a customer was nearly deceived into losing 16 million won. The employee reported the case, suspended payments and registered anti-fraud services, and prevented additional losses.
