Cumulative net inflows into spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have neared $1.79 billion.
On Sept. 1 (local time), blockchain media outlet The Crypto Basic reported that Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart assessed inflows into spot XRP ETFs as surprisingly resilient.
According to Bloomberg data, spot XRP ETFs have recorded about $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch. He said that money had mostly moved in only one direction in aggregate. He explained that the performance stands out more when compared with XRP's price moves over the same period.
The inflows rose quickly from about $150 million on Nov. 13, 2025 to about $1.45 billion on Jan. 16, 2026. They then moved sideways for several months in a $1.3 billion to $1.5 billion range but resumed rising. As of Aug. 26, 2026, cumulative net inflows stood at about $1.79 billion, up about $1.64 billion from the figure in November last year.
Institutional investor participation was also confirmed. Goldman Sachs held the largest stake at about $87.45 million, a figure that represented an increase of about 83.15 million XRP from the previous quarter. Jane Street Group held about $16.64 million and Millennium Management about $16.20 million. Intesa Sanpaolo, Marex UK Holdings, Ironbridge Private Wealth, Kaleidoscope Capital, Wolverine Asset Management, Bain Capital Private Equity and Citadel Advisors also disclosed holdings of spot XRP ETFs.
Inflows have accelerated recently. Weekly inflows into spot XRP ETFs were about $110.49 million, up 177 percent from $39.78 million the previous week. A total of $5.64 million came in on the most recent trading day. Of that, Canary brought in $4.71 million, lifting its cumulative inflows to about $486.73 million. The Bitwise spot XRP ETF also drew $930,420, taking cumulative inflows to about $603.56 million.
By contrast, funds from Franklin, 21Shares and Grayscale had no new inflows on Aug. 31. Even so, the flow of funds shows demand has been maintained during a correction phase after XRP's sharp rise.
The increase was also clear on a monthly basis. Monthly inflows into spot XRP ETFs in August were $159.00 million, sharply up from $27.29 million the previous month. The increase rate was 462.7 percent. The expansion coincided with XRP's sharp price rise in the second half of August.
XRP rose 72 percent in 4 days in late August, climbing from $0.9888 to $1.70. It then corrected by about 20 percent and recently traded around $1.35. With ETF inflows continuing even during a period of high price volatility, how much further institutional demand expands has remained the next point to watch.
XRP ETF flows have been surprisingly resilient. Money in the aggregate has mostly only gone one direction and now they have a total of $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows.
