Overseas Koreans in South Korea to get up to 13 percent off EMS postage
Overseas Koreans living in South Korea and their family members will be eligible from next month for discounts of up to 13 percent on international express mail (EMS) and EMS Premium services. Korea Post will also provide preferential interest rates of up to 0.15 percent on postal deposits and a 30 percent preferential exchange rate for overseas remittances. The measures follow an agreement with the Justice Ministry to support stable settlement. Benefits start on Sept. 1.

Korea Post issues commemorative stamps for 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo
Korea Post will issue 420,000 commemorative stamps for the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo on Sept. 4, it said on Wednesday. The international expo, the first in the world to focus on islands, will run from Sept. 5 to Nov. 4 in Yeosu, South Jeolla province. The stamps feature Yeosu landmarks including a bridge, a marine cable car, a lighthouse and camellia flowers.

Korea Post to issue Blackpink commemorative stamps, with pre-sales from May 12
Korea Post said on Wednesday it will issue 10 types of commemorative stamps featuring Blackpink on June 16. It will also sell a stamp packet containing stamps and portraits of the group. The stamps will be available at main post offices nationwide and the internet post office. Pre-sales start at 7 p.m. on May 12 and end at midnight on May 15, with domestic sales via the internet post office and overseas sales via YG SELECT and Korea Post’s overseas stamp mall.
