Cuconn to supply pet registration data lookup API for Hyundai Marine pet insurance
Cuconn will supply Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance with an API that allows real-time checks of pet registration information for its pet insurance service. It is the first case of Cuconn’s data infrastructure being applied in the pet insurance sector. The API verifies registration details automatically during sign-up, checks eligibility for premium discount riders and reduces manual verification work for insurers.

More financial firms to face margin rules for non-cleared OTC derivatives from September
South Korea\'s Financial Supervisory Service will extend its guidelines on the margin exchange system for non-cleared over-the-counter derivatives transactions. From September, the number of firms subject to initial margin requirements will rise to 143 from 138, while those covered by variation margin requirements will increase to 165 from 163. The guidelines will be extended for one year. The FSS said it will keep checking compliance and gather difficulties financial firms face.

KT M Mobile extends 990 won-a-day eSIM promotion for four Asian countries
KT M Mobile said on Monday it will run its partnership festival for unlimited data products on its mobi eSIM roaming service in four Asian countries until the end of the month. The promotion, initially set to run until Aug. 15, now runs through Aug. 31. Unlimited data plans cost 2,970 won for 3 days and 3,960 won for 4 days, or 990 won per day. Hyundai Marine joins as a new partner.
