Crypto unicorns see market value plunge after listing, some down as much as 99%

Major crypto projects valued at more than $1 billion in private investment rounds have seen their market capitalisation plunge after listing, with some down more than 99 percent, an analysis showed. Data cited by BeInCrypto showed 10 projects now have market caps of $7 million to $294 million, down 88 percent to more than 99 percent from their last venture valuations. Scroll recorded the biggest fall, while Starknet saw the largest loss by value.

Sierra CEO says click-based software to be replaced by natural-language AI agents

Sierra co-founder and CEO Bret Taylor (브렛 테일러) expects the way companies interact with software will change fundamentally, TechCrunch reported. Sierra has launched Ghostwriter, a tool that builds and deploys specialized AI agents from users’ natural-language descriptions, aiming to replace click-based web applications. Taylor said natural language will complete tasks instead of learning complex systems. He said Sierra built a Nordstrom agent in 4 weeks.

Rivian spinoff Also to develop autonomous delivery vehicle with DoorDash

Rivian spinoff micromobility startup Also is working with U.S. food delivery company DoorDash to develop an autonomous delivery vehicle based on Also’s small electric delivery platform. DoorDash joined Also’s $200 million Series C round and secured a board seat. Greenoaks Capital led the round, taking Also’s total funding above about $500 million and valuing it at more than $1 billion. The source of autonomous-driving technology remains unclear.
