Claude Code security flaw found days after source code leak
A critical security vulnerability has been found in Claude Code days after its source code was leaked. SecurityWeek reported the incident began when Anthropic distributed a debugging JavaScript source map to the npm repository during a Claude Code v2.1.88 update. Researcher Chaofan Shou (차오판 쇼우) shared the discovery on X, prompting analysis by developers worldwide. Adversa AI said it found a separate flaw that could allow bypassing command-blocking rules via prompt injection.

AWS launches DevOps and security AI agents for 24/7 outage detection and penetration test automation
Amazon Web Services has launched the AWS DevOps Agent and AWS Security Agent, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday. The tools are positioned as always-on AI teammates for DevOps and security teams, aiming to cut time spent on after-the-fact troubleshooting and support preventive optimization. The DevOps agent monitors applications and analyzes telemetry, code and deployment data to identify causes. The security agent runs continuous penetration tests and can propose fixes via automated pull requests.

Former GitHub CEO raises $60 million seed funding, enters AI development tools market
Thomas Dohmke (토마스 돔케), former CEO of GitHub, founded development tools startup Entire and raised $60 million in seed funding at a $300 million valuation, TechCrunch reported on Monday. The funding round was led by Felicis. Entire is developing open-source tools to manage code generated by AI agents, including a git-compatible database and collaboration features. Dohmke said AI-generated code output has exceeded what humans can handle.
