Naver runs 2026 \'Be Local\' campaign, introduces 300 Busan hotspots
Naver is launching a regional partnership campaign with local governments and public institutions to improve convenience for foreign tourists visiting South Korea. The company said on Tuesday it will run its \'Be Local\' campaign through July 19, promoting about 300 hotspots across Busan. Users who set Naver Map to a foreign language can view recommendations via a Be Local tab. The campaign also offers coupons and supports reservations, orders and payments, including via a passport verification feature.

Water opens 350 kW ultra-fast chargers to Tesla vehicles
Electric vehicle charging network Water has opened its 350 kW ultra-fast chargers at highway service areas to Tesla vehicles. From May 7, Tesla owners can use ultra-fast charging infrastructure at Water’s highway service areas nationwide using a genuine Tesla DC Combo (CCS Combo 1) adapter, the company said. Water said it confirmed safety through technical verification and will provide user guidance via its app and on-site.

BNK Busan Bank holds management strategy meeting for first half of 2026
BNK Busan Bank said on Thursday it held its 2026 first-half management strategy meeting at its training center in Gijang and shared its business direction under the theme “Dynamic Move, Make Wave.” About 240 people, including CEO Kim Sung-joo (김성주), attended. The bank presented field-led sales and new finance to boost the regional economy as key priorities, and said it will strengthen support for local industries, including a focus on the maritime sector.
