Samsung foldable phone searches jump 460 percent after Apple unveils iPhone Duo

Interest in Samsung Electronics\' foldable phones rose after Apple unveiled its first foldable, the iPhone Duo, with European sales and search volumes climbing, an analysis said. Samsung said its 2026 foldable lineup is selling faster than last year in Europe, with combined sales of the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra up 45 percent from the Fold7. In Europe, searches for the Galaxy Z8 series jumped 460 percent week on week.

KT M Mobile runs prize event for existing customers with Galaxy Z8 giveaways

KT M Mobile is running a prize event for existing customers, offering Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, along with Naver Pay vouchers. The company said the “Big Event” will run through Sept. 30 for customers currently using its service lines. A total of 502 winners will be selected, including 500 who will receive 10,000-won Naver Pay vouchers. Winners will be announced in early November.
