PC DRAM price rise slows, demand broadening in focus

Global PC shipments rose 4 percent in the first quarter from a year earlier, defying expectations of weakening demand, as suppliers and distributors built inventory ahead of higher memory costs, Gartner said. Samsung Electronics launches Galaxy Book6, completes AI PC lineup

Samsung Electronics launched the Galaxy Book6 in South Korea on Tuesday, completing its Galaxy Book6 series lineup after unveiling the Ultra and Pro models in January. The laptop starts at 1.6 million won and comes in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes in gray or silver. It uses Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 3 with an NPU rated up to 49 TOPS and supports Galaxy AI features. Samsung also introduced a new Galaxy Book6 Ultra model and an AI subscription service.

Samsung Electronics unveils Galaxy AI ecosystem at MWC26

Samsung Electronics unveiled “Galaxy AI” expanded across its broader ecosystem at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, it said on Monday. The company showcased Galaxy AI experiences extending beyond mobile devices as well as AI-based network technology. Samsung set up a 1,745-square-metre exhibition hall at the Fira Gran Via venue. It highlighted the third-generation AI phone Galaxy S26 series and ecosystem products including Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Book6.
