South Korea warns of phishing emails and watering-hole attacks led by state-backed hackers

South Korea\'s National Intelligence Service and other agencies warned of hacking emails and watering-hole attacks led by state-backed hacking groups. They said attackers send phishing emails disguised as resumes or job offers, or hack legitimate websites to spread malware. Victims can be infected simply by visiting a compromised site, sometimes by exploiting vulnerabilities in outdated security software. Authorities warned corporate 피해 could include theft of internal documents and customer data and urged reporting suspected cases. Some reports may qualify for rewards.
