Korea Fintech Industry Association elects Kim Jong-hyun as sixth chairman

The Korea Fintech Industry Association said on Tuesday it elected Kucorn CEO Kim Jong-hyun as its sixth chairman at its regular general meeting held at the Korea Federation of Banks building. Kim was chosen through an on-site vote, winning 70.09 percent of ballots cast by member companies. His two-year term runs through Feb. 17, 2028. The association also elected other executives for its sixth board, including vice chair, directors and an auditor.

Tom Lee sketches major XRP upside scenario as crypto market growth seen

Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee says the cryptocurrency market is not at its peak and could enter a phase of rapid, exponential adoption. He cites 4.4 million bitcoin wallets holding at least $10,000 versus about 900 million people with more than $10,000 in retirement savings, and notes limited institutional allocation. He also highlights tokenisation of financial assets, with a potential $10 quadrillion addressable market, and says XRP could benefit if it maintains a 4% share.
