Elice Group unveils AI full-stack strategy centered on K-PMDC

Elice Group held a media briefing at its headquarters in Seoul on April 15 and announced a business strategy spanning AI infrastructure and education. The company said the core is a domestically developed portable modular data centre that can cut build times to about three months and supports Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72. It also introduced a GPU spot pricing plan, expanded partnerships to build a domestic AI infrastructure ecosystem, and plans to integrate document analysis and generative AI while widening enterprise training.

Elice Group, Arista Networks Korea sign MOU on AI network technology

Elice Group said on Wednesday it will work with Arista Networks Korea to implement the country\'s first Ethernet-based large-scale GPU clustering. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding a day earlier at Elice Group\'s headquarters on cooperation in next-generation AI network technology. They aim to shift large-scale AI infrastructure from expensive dedicated networks to Ethernet to improve AI data centre economics and lower barriers to entry in South Korea\'s AI industry.

Dell Technologies expands NVIDIA-based Dell AI Data Platform lineup

Dell Technologies said on Tuesday it has rolled out a major update to its Dell AI Data Platform with NVIDIA lineup, focusing on stronger enterprise data discovery and use and high-performance storage for AI applications and autonomous AI agents. The update includes the Dell Data Orchestration Engine based on technology from Dataloop, which Dell recently acquired. Dell also added marketplace libraries and support for the latest NVIDIA AI-Q blueprint, and updated storage offerings.
