More than 120 U.S. crypto groups urge Senate to take up Clarity Act

U.S. crypto industry groups are pressing the Senate to move quickly on legislation to clarify regulation of digital assets. More than 120 trade groups sent a joint letter to the Senate Banking Committee urging prompt action on a digital asset market structure bill that includes the Clarity Act. The groups said delayed rules risk harming global competitiveness and called for clearer jurisdiction between the SEC and the CFTC, along with changes covering stablecoins, developers and tax reporting.
