Security researchers say they accessed OpenAI employee ChatGPT account using Claude

Hacktron AI\'s security research team showed it could access an OpenAI employee\'s ChatGPT account using Anthropic\'s Claude, the Wall Street Journal reported. The team found the issue while participating in OpenAI\'s bug bounty program and reported it immediately. OpenAI paid a $6,500 reward. OpenAI said vulnerabilities were found in Discourse and within OpenAI, and it narrowed token permissions and revoked affected tokens and sessions.

Billionaire Mark Cuban says fear on social media is more terrifying than AI itself

Billionaire Mark Cuban (마크 큐반) said he sees human reactions around artificial intelligence as a bigger threat than AI itself. He said people acting on information from social media could be more dangerous than groups of AI agents. He also said he worries more about how humans respond to AI than the technology’s actual risks, and said it is impossible to stop AI development. He criticised social media algorithms for amplifying anti-AI sentiment.

KAWPI to discuss national strategy direction for \'post-sovereign AI\'

The Korea Association of World Politics and Information (KAWPI) will hold its third Global Digital Forum on Sept. 8 at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focusing on “post-sovereign AI” and the future direction of South Korea’s national AI strategy. Co-organised with the Center for Future Warfare Studies, the forum will review AI use in the private and public sectors amid the spread of generative and agent AI. It will also examine the status and challenges of “sovereign AI 2.0.”
