Samsung Electronics starts giving digital Onnuri vouchers, linking traditional markets and small businesses
Samsung Electronics is starting to issue digital Onnuri gift vouchers to customers taking part in its “With the People, Samsung Electronics Thank You Festival,” it said on Monday. The company is using vouchers instead of direct discounts to connect with local small-business districts. The event runs for four weeks from June 8, offering vouchers worth 20 percent of the purchase amount, with an additional 10 percent benefit for “K-heroes” such as soldiers, police and firefighters.

The app will issue a 10 percent discount coupon on a first-come, first-served basis, with some exclusions. Additional Naver Pay point benefits are also available.
