Samsung Electronics will launch the Galaxy A37 5G in South Korea on June 19. It features a large display, artificial intelligence (AI) functions and upgraded camera performance.

The Galaxy A37 5G will come in 3 colours: Awesome Lavender, Awesome White and Awesome Charcoal. It will be priced at 598,400 won. It will be available at Samsung Stores nationwide, Samsung.com and online and offline outlets of mobile carriers.

The new model supports a 170.1 mm (6.7-inch) FHD+ Super AMOLED display and up to a 120 Hz screen refresh rate. On the back, it has a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera.

The wide-angle camera uses a 1.0-micrometre pixel sensor to improve low-light shooting performance. It supports optical image stabilisation (OIS) to reduce shake when shooting. It has a 5,000 mAh high-capacity battery. With Super Fast Charging 2.0, it can charge up to 60 percent in 30 minutes. Water and dust resistance uses an IP68 rating, strengthened from the previous model.

The Galaxy A37 5G also includes "Awesome Intelligence", a mobile AI for the Galaxy A series. It supports "AI Eraser", which removes unwanted objects in photos, and "Edit Suggestions", which proposes improvements such as boosting resolution and removing shadows through image analysis. It also offers "Text Conversion", which converts recorded audio into text.

Samsung Electronics will support up to 6 operating system (OS) upgrades and up to 6 years of security updates for the Galaxy A37 5G.

Samsung Electronics will provide a "Wela two-month subscription voucher" to customers who buy and activate the Galaxy A37 5G by Sept. 30. It will also offer a benefit that refunds 20 percent of the payment amount in a digital Onnuri gift certificate through the "With the People, Samsung Electronics Thank You Festival" running until the 5th of next month.
